The COPOL-Norway research initiative is from the Polar Environmental Centre - POMI in collaboration with the Oslo Centre for interdisciplinary Environmental and Social Research - CIENS.
The project leader is Dr. Geir Wing Gabrielsen at the Norwegian Polar Institute - NPI, and COPOL is coordinated and managed by Dr. Katrine Borgå at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research - NIVA.

There are several students associated to COPOL. In addition, the PhD student Ingeborg Hallanger at NPI is working on a related project, funded by ConocoPhillips, that is strongly linked to COPOL.
