The COPOL-Norway research initiative is from the Polar Environmental Centre - POMI in collaboration with the Oslo Centre for interdisciplinary Environmental and Social Research - CIENS. 

The project leader is Dr. Geir Wing Gabrielsen  at the Norwegian Polar Institute - NPI, and COPOL is coordinated and managed by Dr. Katrine Borgå  at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research - NIVA.

Project participants are:

Drs. Anita Evenset, Paul Renaud, Guttorm Christensen and JoLynn Carroll at Akvaplan-NIVA,

Dr. Jan Ove Bustnes at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research - NINA,

Dr. Torunn Berg  at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology - NTNU.

There are several students associated to COPOL. In addition, the PhD student Ingeborg Hallanger at NPI is working on a related project, funded by ConocoPhillips, that is strongly linked to COPOL.
