Cruise with R/V Lance to Kongsfjorden, Svalbard for sampling of benthic and pelagic animals. Participants: Anita Evenset, Guttorm Christensen, Anders Ruus, Ingeborg Hallanger, Ida Øverjordet.

Seabird and Fish (Kongsfjorden, from 2007-05-07 15:35 to 2007-05-13 15:35) — by Katrine Borgå

Based in Ny-Ålesund, Anita Evenset and Guttorm Christensen will sample seabirds and fish for WP1. The rest of the WP1 COPOL team will pick them up May 13th for sampling of benthos and zooplankton from R/V Lance.

Sampling of blood samples for contaminant analyses and effect parameters in kittiwake. The kittiwakes have recently arrived in Kongsfjorden to prepare for their breeding season. They will be resampled in June and July.
